A critical component of Jesus ministry in the days of His incarnation was to involve disciples in His own ministry. His expectation was that—after His ascension—these disciples would continue to participate with Him in His ongoing ministry in the power of the Spirit. We are not brought into life with Jesus only to await “translation” to heaven, but to participate with Jesus in His Spirit-empowered ministry for the glory of the Father.

This class will meet for six consecutive Monday evenings (Jan 23, 30, Feb 6, 13, 20, and 27). We’ll touch on topics like evangelism, discipleship, and church life as we explore Jesus’ intention for His earliest followers, His “commission” to those original disciples, and the implications for followers of Jesus in our day and time.

The class is being hosted by Freedom Church in Mauldin, SC, and is open to anyone interested. We will meet at 6:30 pm each evening. Although there is no charge for this course, we ask you to register so that we can plan accordingly.
