Most people have heard about the 10 Commandments. Some can even recite them. But have you ever thought about why they were given?
They are posted in public buildings and schools. You’ve probably seen them, read them, and even know some of them by heart. But why were the Ten Commandments given by God to His people? And, how should we think about them with regard to our own lives.
We’ll spend one evening, Thursday, May 7th, from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm (EST, US), in Exodus 20. The goal? To read the passage well, to understand what God did in giving these commandments, and invite the Spirit of God to awaken in us some fresh thinking about these famous commandments.
