It was a remarkable moment. Jesus had gone up a mountain with three of His disciples. There, we are told, He was “transfigured” in their presence. But what actually happened?

We will read two of the Gospel accounts of that moment as we seek to understand what happened, why it happened, what it meant for the disciples who were there, and what we should learn from that singular moment in time.
