In Luke 24, there is a fascinating account of two disciples of Jesus on the road to Emmaus, having left Jerusalem. The reports are that Jesus is risen. But these two men are sad. Knowing what they do about Jesus and the reports they’ve heard, why the sadness? And, more importantly, what did Jesus do to speak to (and resolve) their sadness?
In this one-evening class, we will read the account, paying attention to what Luke tells us in order to answer those questions . . . and more! The class will meet online on Thursday evening, June 5, at 6:30 pm (EST, US).
Although the class is free, you will need to register in order to be provided the link for the online class.
